Lanzante showcase at the Wynn Concours Las Vegas

  • Three-seat Lanzante 95-59 takes centre stage alongside 1980s Formula 1-inspired display

  • Production prototype shown in latest specification, highlighting further levels of bespoke options available

  • TAG Turbo Championship and McLaren MP4/2B honour TAG-engine and Alain Prost

Following the global unveiling earlier this summer, Lanzante will showcase the three-seat 95-59 supercar alongside Formula 1 icons at the upcoming Concours at Wynn Las Vegas. The three-car display is headlined by the 95-59 in production prototype form. It is joined by two pieces of Porsche TAG Turbo Formula 1 heritage: the Lanzante-built TAG Turbo Championship '85, a 1-of-3 tribute powered by an original Prost-era race engine; and, Alain Prost's title-winning 1985 McLaren MP4/2B.

Launched to celebrate the 30th anniversary of victory at the 24 Hours of Le Mans, the Lanzante 95-59 will take centre stage as part of the brand’s exciting three car display. The example on display showcases further levels of bespoke finish available, finished in Bianco Brillante, paired to white drivers’ seat and contrasting passenger seats. With a central driving position, the 95-59 has been re-engineered with seating for two additional passengers, luggage space and an extended cruising range. Designed with useability as a core focus, the three-seat supercar continues its development ahead of production starting early in 2027. It returns to the lawns of the Wynn Las Vegas in production prototype form, just 12 months on from being unveiled as a design concept, underlining the pace of the development programme.

Alongside the new bespoke three-seat project will be two pieces of iconic Formula 1 heritage from the dominant era of the Porsche-developed TAG Turbo. On display will be one of the most significant Formula 1 cars from four-time champion Alain Prost’s career – the McLaren MP4/2B. Penned by legendary designer John Barnard, the iconic McLaren was a successful development of the MP4/2 chassis, introduced for the 1984 season. Driven by Prost and teammate Niki Lauda, this iteration claimed the second of three successive championship titles for the TAG-labelled Porsche engine. The specific chassis being displayed scored the Frenchman four victories and the majority of his points tally for the 1985 season, on his way to claiming his first title.

The TAG Turbo Championship completes the Lanzante line-up for the Concours at Wynn Las Vegas, sharing the heart of a genuine Formula 1 car. Designed, engineered and built by Lanzante, the 1-of-3 model honours McLaren's back-to-back championship titles from the golden 1980s era. It's powered by a period-correct, Porsche-built TAG TTE P01 1.5-litre V6 twin-turbo – the most extreme iteration of the road-going TAG engine, revving to 10,250rpm, producing 625hp, and reaching a top speed of 200mph.

Finished in the distinctive red, blue and white design inspired by Alain Prost’s race helmet, ‘Championship '85’ houses one of his original race engines, which claimed two podium finishes that season. Extensive use of carbon fibre and state-of-the-art motorsport technology strip the car down to just 920kg – a saving of more than 430kg over the original 930 Turbo donor car.

The full Lanzante display will be unveiled as part of Concours at the Wynn Las Vegas, taking place 31 October-1 November.
