The 4.0-litre engine upgrade, developed in partnership with Cosworth, is available for all P1 variants, including the GTR.

Capacity is increased over the original 3.8-litre unit by longer stroke crank, with components replaced or modified including titanium con rods and valves. These upgrades increase power to 1000bhp, and torque raises to 1,050Nm.
